Bre cut the first copy of my space rocket design on Thingiverse and uploaded the picture.

Bre's Copy of the Space Rocket

There’s even a video, which is hilarious!

There is something deeply awesome about the whole thing. I designed this on a laptop one evening in Jersey, and by the next evening I can see a video of the first physical copy flying around Bre’s place, complete with sound effects.

I love living in our era. We are freaking lucky, my ducklings.

That’s right, MAKING things with a LAZZZOR!

Thanks to Bre Pettis and the folks at NYC Resistor for the class and the access to the machine.

Want to make your own? Head on over to Thingiverse, grab the design files and modify and/or cut your own… I put it under a creative commons license.
