Race Angle? You bet!

No, nothing to do with race...Several months ago, when I was (almost) sold down the river by my employer and feeling very sorry for myself, I wrote a post where I said I was just a Nigger to them. I’ll accept your criticism if you read the post before you formulate it.

Ever since, I get one or two visits a week from someone using the word ‘Nigger’ on one of the major search engine.

Since the NoLa disaster, and the media stories of looting and shots fired at rescue helicopters and police on the ground, the endless pictures of poor, almost exclusively black victims living and dying in squalor in makeshift shelters, I’ve been getting half a dozen visits like that… a DAY.

That’s at least thirty times more!

Tuesday morning, I had one where the search string was ‘niggers raise hell‘.

I mean, wow, people actually think and talk like this!

    I just fuckin’ hate that word though. I hate it more than c-u-next-thursday (as it was recently spelled out to me).

    But I can still say “fuck” though, right?

    Vivi, any word that helps is fine in my book, and I find myself at a loss for them in the face of much of this…

    Bad bad bad word. If you live in the southern US, you learn that you can get killed by saying that word . I sometimes wonder if people google using such terms to ferret out prejudice or odd porn on blog posts. I ‘spect some of your hits are.
