Took several shots I’m rather proud of at the Kinkaku-ji, or Golden Pavillion, so thought I’d show one off here. -)

    Based on discussions with my guide in the rather small overlap of the Venn Diagram of our common languages… yes, it is.

    Wikipedia seems to agree, and indicates that the arson was real and happened in 1950, shocking the entire nation. So this one must be rebuilt.
